Kim Ellison
Business Manager

Kim Ellison is a Sylacauga native who graduated from B.B. Comer Memorial High School before earning degrees from Auburn University and the University of Montevallo.

Kim taught elementary school in the Talladega County School System and later in Sylacauga City Schools, retiring after 30 years in the classroom. She soon realized that front porch life just wasn't enough, so she joined RadioAlabama part time as a content manager while also working with the BRIDGES After School Program at SAFE. Retirement called again after her grandchildren began to arrive. Today, Kim has returned to RadioAlabama as business manager.

Kim and her husband, Gray, returned to Sylacauga after graduating from college to build their careers and raise their sons close to family. They are active members of First Baptist Church. Kim enjoys spending time at Lake Martin and telling everyone about her family, especially her grandchildren!
