Coach Kris Herron welcomed Coach Jerry Weems in to start another week. The guys recapped a weekend that included a wedding and Jacksonville State baseball. They also took a look at local happenings around the area. Amy Frye from the Clay County Rural Emergency Hospital was in studio to share details about the upcoming Health Fair 2026. The Bone, Heath Stroud, joined with his weekend report, and Rusty Taylor checked in seeking clarification on some of The Bone’s weekend activity.

The Barber, David Nolen, helped carry the show into the weekend. The guys talked through their weekend plans, including Auburn A-Day and a wedding on the schedule. They also took a look at events happening around the area and shared a few interesting facts they could not keep to themselves.

Coach Steve Giddens joined Coach Kris Herron for the morning. The guys recapped a busy weekend that included time with grandkids, basketball practice, putt putt golf, and pickleball. They also shared life principles from the book Legacy Letters: Timeless Principles I Learned, Lived & Leave Behind. The duo mixed in some fun with a fill in the blank Mayberry quiz.

Rusty Taylor got the morning going as he shared details from the traffic accident in Lineville that shut down Highway 9 for a time. Coach Josh Giddens stopped by with an update on Clay Central softball. The guys also ran through the latest headlines from the The Clay Times Journal.

Coach Michael Shortt jumped on board with Coach Kris Herron. The guys talked about an interesting early Monday road trip and family members out in Las Vegas. They also broke down the difference between one million and one billion. The search for Lemon Meringue Pie M&M’s continued as the show rolled on.

The guys also checked in with The Bone, Heath Stroud, for the latest from his world.

Coach Michael Shortt rode along with Coach Kris Herron. Shortt shared stories from his concert-going days, while the guys also talked about bubble guns for Easter, paper airplanes, and memories from Bristol, Tennessee. Heath Stroud joined for a few minutes as he gets set for a night of gigging.

Coach Jerry Weems got the new week started. With it being the first Monday of the month, Dr. Chip East joined the guys to talk butterbeans, peas, and turf grass.

The Barber, David Nolen, carried the show into Easter weekend with a special devotional reading. Kelly G. Smith shared an Easter reading of “Chicken Sunday” by Patricia Polacco. They also tossed around questions like whether teachers can ride the bus to school, how many eggs is too many to eat, and other off-the-wall topics.

Coach Steve Giddens and Sister Sheila, better known as Stella, were alongside Coach Kris Herron. They highlighted celebrations for the month, noted a moon launch leaving Earth’s atmosphere for the first time in 53 years, and looked back at the premiere of “Dallas” 48 years ago. The morning also featured an Andy Griffith Show quiz.

Rusty Taylor carried the show through April Fools Day. Richard Sprayberry with Mountain View Outfitters joined in and shared what Holy Week means to him. During “In the Backwoods with Spray,” the guys talked crappie fishing and sporting clay shooting, and took a look at the latest headlines from The Clay Times Journal.

Coach Michael Shortt joined Coach Kris Herron for the final day of March. Shortt shared more encounters with a snake and talked about putting out pine straw and pine bark mulch. The guys covered happenings around the area and looked at BBQ in Alabama.
