Allie Thompson and Sawyer Rohling grew up in the same town but attended different high schools. In September 2019, during their junior year, Allie asked Sawyer to her school’s homecoming after meeting only once before. They quickly hit it off, and within a month, they were officially dating. They spent the next several years together, navigating high school and the transition into adulthood—Allie attending Auburn University while Sawyer pursued his career.
After five years together, Sawyer proposed on October 20, 2025, at The James Cameron House Bed and Breakfast in their hometown. What Allie believed was a simple dinner with out-of-town family turned into a carefully planned surprise. In a nearby field, Sawyer created a special setup featuring a family heirloom blanket and a custom Bible engraved with their future last name. After the proposal, they walked to the bed and breakfast, where their closest friends and family were gathered to celebrate their engagement. With the help of Sarah Dorough Photography, every moment of the memorable afternoon was captured.Â
Now, Allie and Sawyer look forward to their intimate destination wedding in Punta Cana in November 2025, surrounded by those they love most.
