Toomer's Oaks

The Haunted Auburn Walking Tour is offered at 6 and 8 p.m. each Friday in October, plus Halloween night. This free, guided walking tour begins at Toomer’s Oaks and passes several campus and downtown locations connected to local ghost stories and reported paranormal activity. Local folklorist, paranormal investigator, artist and actor Brandon Stoker joins historian, author and paranormal investigator John-Mark Poe to share stories, local history and accounts tied to stops along the route. Locations may include Biggin Hall, Hargis Hall, Samford Hall, Ralph Brown Draughon Library, The Hotel at Auburn University and Dixon Conference Center, Pine Hill Cemetery, Eagle’s Nest and University Chapel. The tours last approximately 1 1/2 hours and are rated PG-13. Comfortable walking shoes are recommended. Tours are weather permitting and will not be held in the rain.  Admission is free, but donations are accepted.
