Opelika Train Depot
On South Railroad Avenue near the wooden warehouse stairs.

The Haunted Opelika Walking Tour is offered at 6 and 8 p.m. each Saturday in October, plus Halloween night. The free, guided walking tour  passes several downtown locations connected to local ghost stories and reported paranormal activity. Paranormal investigators Brandon Stoker and John-Mark Poe share firsthand accounts, local history and stories tied to stops along the route. Tales include the spectral train, a phantom switch operator, the ghost of Tandy Keyes, the former Clement Hotel, a phantom horse and buggy, the Mansard House and more. Tours last approximately 50 minutes and are rated PG, with ages 12 and older recommended. Comfortable walking shoes are recommended, and tours are weather permitting.

Meet at the train depot Admission is free, and donations are accepted.
