The Sylacauga Parks and Recreation Athletics Program will hold basketball registration for the 2027 season beginning October 1 through November 30, 2026. Boys and girls ages 5–12 are eligible to participate in the Alabama Recreation and Parks Association (ARPA) basketball league and are encouraged to sign up early to avoid missing the registration deadline.
The 6U registration fee is $75, while 8U–12U registration is $85. Parents may register online, by phone, or in person at the J. Craig Smith Community Center. Payments may be made by cash, check, or credit card. The age control date for the 2026 season is September 1, 2026.
Volunteer coaches are also needed for all age groups. For more information, please contact Athletic Coordinator Kishawn McKinney at the J. Craig Smith Community Center.
