The event features a 5K, Half Marathon and Kids Mile, with participants finishing inside Jordan-Hare Stadium. War Eagle Run Fest is one of Alabama’s largest and most celebrated running events and was named the best half marathon in Alabama by RaceRaves in 2026.
Runners looking for an added challenge can participate in the Weagle Weagle Challenge, completing the 5K on Saturday and the Half Marathon on Sunday to earn additional race hardware. With a variety of distances and a family-friendly atmosphere, War Eagle Run Fest welcomes both returning participants and first-time runners.
