[B.B. Comer Sports Network] B.B. Comer vs. Geraldine to air on Yea!106.5 tonight

B.B. Comer will face Geraldine in the second round of the Class 3A playoffs tonight at Legion stadium.

The Tigers upset top-seeded Fultondale to advance to play at their home stadium.

The B.B. Comer Sports Network, which has a crew dedicated solely to B.B. Comer athletics, will broadcast on Yea!106.5 tonight with pregame coverage beginning at 6:30. You can also listen on RadioAlabamaSports.net.

Play-by-play announcer Gregg Wykoff and color analyst Randy (R.C.) Caine have followed the Tigers all season, and are looking forward to an exciting game tonight.

“These Tigers are so much fun to watch, and even more fun to broadcast on radio,” said Wykoff. “When RadioAlabama asked me to be the voice of the Tigers and the B.B. Comer Sports Network, I could not have been more excited. We thought this would be a special year for B.B. Comer and that hunch turned out to be right. We can’t wait for tonight.”

Caine is a graduate of B.B. Comer and well known throughout the community, and is proud to be a part of the broadcast team. “I love B.B. Comer and B.B. Comer sports. It’s great to see my alma mater making this playoff run, and I know Gregg and I are ready for the game tonight.”
