SYLACAUGA, Ala. – Corbyn Patterson and Jeremiah Crawford led a group of 11 Sylacauga athletes named to the 2026 All-State Track and Field teams, capping a season that featured state championships, school records, and strong relay performances.
Patterson garnered first-team All-State honors in the 400-meter relay after winning the Class 5A state championship by 0.02 seconds. The senior also secured a spot on the All-Senior Boys Team.
Crawford landed on the second team in the 300-meter hurdles following his Class 5A state title in a school-record time of 40.36 seconds, shaving 0.33 seconds off his previous school mark of 40.69. The junior picked up honorable mention in the 110-meter hurdles and was selected to the All-Junior Boys Team.
Qun Lewis joined Crawford on the All-Junior Boys Team and received honorable mention in the 300-meter hurdles.
Sage Wytch collected second-team honors in the 300-meter hurdles, while freshman Cynia Parker earned a third-team selection in the same event. Parker also secured a place on the All-Freshman Girls Team.
Wytch added All-Senior Girls Team honors in the 300-meter hurdles, and Jordyn Thomas represented Sylacauga on the All-Senior Girls Team in the long jump.
Sylacauga’s relay teams rounded out the All-State selections.
The boys’ 4×100-meter relay team of DeArian “Juice” Riley, Tre Wright, Zakorien Chambliss, and Patterson received second-team honors, breaking the school record twice during the season.
The boys’ 4×400-meter relay team of Lewis, Riley, Crawford, and Patterson also earned second-team honors, while the girls’ 4×400-meter relay team of Carlie Kelley, Ny’La Nelson, Wytch, and Parker claimed second-team honors.
