Alabama Baseball’s Chase Lee Earns Third Team All-America Honors from NCBWA

TUSCALOOSA, Ala. – Alabama’s Chase Lee earned third team All-America honors from the National Collegiate Baseball Writers Association (NCBWA), the organization announced on Wednesday afternoon.

The junior earned his second postseason honor as he was selected to the ABCA/Rawlings All-Southeast Region First Team earlier on Wednesday. Lee’s recognition is the Tide’s first from the NCBWA since 2016 when Thomas Burrows was tabbed to the outlet’s third team as a relief pitcher, as well.

  • Totaled 22 relief appearances on the season, finishing with a 7-0 mark and seven saves
  • Tied for sixth in the SEC in saves while tying for ninth in wins among league arms
  • Maintained a 1.33 ERA (6 ER/40.2 IP) and led all UA relievers with 51 strikeouts
