Alabama Pro Day Quotes

Alabama Quarterback Mac Jones

On his goals for today’s Pro Day:

“I just wanted to show that I am not a statue and I can make plays, and I’ll be able to do that hopefully at the next level. Obviously, it’s not going to be a clean pocket with five perfect blockers, so I am going to have to move a little bit, but you also don’t want to ruin the structure of the play. I just wanted to show that on a few (passes), even on creative footwork. At the end of the day, I am a pocket passer and I’m just going to drop back and let it rip.”

Alabama Wide Receiver DeVonta Smith

On what he will bring to the NFL:

“I’ll just bring the mentality that I won’t be stopped. I’ll just be going in every day, knowing that I am going to grind. I am going to work every day and teams know that I am not just going to sit up there and lay down.”
