
CHILDERSBURG, Ala. – The Childersburg Lady Tigers’ basketball season continues after a blowout win Monday night.
The Tigers, led by head coach Gavin King, hosted BTW last night with a trip to Montgomery up in the air.
The Lady Tigers did not disappoint, winning 69-49.
Childersburg’s defense was suffocating, forcing over 40 turnovers, including 33 steals. Offensively the ball moved well with the Tigers ending the game with 22 assists.
Coach Gavin King said, “We didn’t play our best game but the intensity was there. We’ve got a lot to still work on, but I’m glad that the girls have accomplished one of their goals in making it to Regional play.”
Jakiyah Rosten finished with 19 points, Aubrey Foy had 16 while Eunique McKinney 11 points.
The Lady Tigers will play Monday Feb. 17 in Montgomery.
