Lee-Scott Sports Network to replay the best games of 2020

While live varsity sporting events have been canceled or postponed, The Lee-Scott Sports Network will replay its best games of 2020, starting on March 20. Four games will be replayed on the Lee-Scott Sports Network Facebook page. Check the schedule below for replay dates and times.

In addition to being available on Facebook, the replays can be accessed on leescottsportsnetwork.net and on the RadioAlabama Sports app (available in the App Store).

March 20 at 6 p.m.

Lee-Scott baseball vs. Macon-East from March 6, 2020

In a game that featured a foul ball knocking out a floodlight, the Warriors opened up the Border Wars tournament with a dominating 6-2 victory over the Macon-East Knights in the first game of a doubleheader.

 

March 24 at 6 p.m.

Lee-Scott basketball at Springwood from January 28, 2020

Two iconic games from basketball season spread across one night. The girls fell behind early to the Wildcats, but at the start of the second quarter, the Warriors went on a 32-0 run that spanned into the second half, propelling Lee-Scott to victory. The boys game followed with some extra drama. After Lee-Scott guard Wilks Fisher made key free throws late in the game, Springwood missed a last-second shot with the Warriors advancing to 3-0 in area play.

 

March 27 at 6 p.m.

Lee-Scott boys basketball vs. Northside Methodist from February 7, 2020

Lee-Scott opened the playoffs with a commanding presence against Northside Methodist in the first round. A flurry of three-pointers helped the Warriors to punch their tickets to Montgomery for a spot in the quarterfinals of the state playoffs.

 

March 31 at 6 p.m.

Lee-Scott girls basketball vs. Glenwood from February 15, 2020

Lee-Scott girls basketball showed why they were the best team in the AISA, completing their dream season by winning the state championship against arch-rival Glenwood. It’s hard enough to beat a team once, but Lee-Scott beat their rival three times in the same season, culminating in a title.
