Aggies’ Porch commits to Jacksonville State

SYLACAUGA, Ala. – Sylacauga High School will put another player on a college roster.

Cole Porch, the Aggies’ kicker and punter, committed to play at Jacksonville State University over the weekend.

Porch is most well known for a 54 yard field goal in a win-or-go-home game vs. Munford in the 2019 regular season finale. Down by three, Porch drilled a kick to send the game to overtime where the Aggies eventually came out victorious.

Porch has joined Schuyler Simmons, Gabe Cox, Tim Stallworth as Aggies that have recently committed to play football in college.

JSU is a Division I Football Championship Series school in the Ohio Valley Conference.
