Sylacauga’s senior tailback Jordan Ridgeway was the spark the Aggies needed Friday night in the season opener.
Going up against a very much-improved Leeds Green Wave, especially defensively, Sylacauga had to earn everything it got, and when his number was called, Jordan Ridgeway got the job done.
The senior accounted for 18 of the 20 points Sylacauga put on the board vs. Leeds. Overall, Ridgeway rushed for three touchdowns in a 20-3 victory, leading to Head Coach Matt Griffith’s 100th career victory.
Look for Ridgeway, again, to have a big night coming up this Friday as the Aggies host Chilton County in the home opener.
