Senior Quarterback JD DeLoach earned Star Physical Therapy ‘Star Player of the Game’ honors Friday night.
In a game Sylacauga (6-1, 3-1) should have dominated – it did, and the final outcome had much to do with the Aggies’ senior signal caller.
All season long Sylacuga Head Coach Matt Griffith has been high on Deloach’s ability to not only command the offense and put it in favorable and manageable situations, but also his ability to throw the football.
Over the last three weeks DeLoach has been dialed in, and although he wins the award this week in a 48-7 victory over the Saints from St. Clair County, he gets it for his cumulative performances in the last three games including Mortimer Jordan and Childersburg.

The cardinal and white will have to rely heavily on DeLoach again this week against the top team in the region, the Center Point Eagles (6-1, 4-0). A win will pit the Aggies tied for first place with two region games remaining.
