The Allen Brew Market Athlete of the Week is Fayetteville volleyball’s Kenleigh McArthur.
McArthur continues to raise the bar for what dominance looks like on the court. The junior outside hitter, already known across the state as one of Alabama’s best, turned in a show-stopping performance at the Talladega County Small School Tournament a few weeks back. McArthur racked up 36 kills on the day, earning Tournament MVP honors and leading the Lady Wolves to another strong finish in a season filled with big moments and even bigger expectations. Her Wolves are in Montgomery this week competing in the regional tournament after winning the area championship last week.
McArthur is no stranger to the spotlight. Last year, she was named the Alabama High School Volleyball Coaches Association’s Class 1A Player of the Year after piling up 373 kills, 108 aces, and 244 digs as just a sophomore.

This season, McArthur has continued to anchor Fayetteville’s attack while setting the tone for another postseason run. Whether it’s delivering a perfectly timed spike or diving to keep a rally alive, she plays with the same energy and focus every point. Her teammates feed off that intensity, and her coaches say it’s contagious. For her unmatched talent and relentless work ethic, Fayetteville’s Kenleigh McArthur is this week’s Allen Brew Market Athlete of the Week.
