Auburn Network names Jack Hudon as new Voice of the Auburn High Tigers

AUBURN, Ala. – Auburn Network has announced that Jack Hudon will take over the play-by-play broadcasting duties for Auburn High School Football, Boys & Girls Basketball, and Softball game broadcasts beginning this Fall. Jack, an alumnus of Auburn High, has served as the producer, halftime host and sideline reporter for Tiger football, as well as the play-by-play voice of Auburn High Softball since 2021. Hudon takes over for Jacob Goins who had served as Auburn High’s play-by-play Voice of the Tigers for all sports since 2024 before retiring from the role.

“At Auburn Network, we believe in broadcast quality and excellence,” said Steve Witten, Vice President and Market Manager. “We owe it to our listeners, our advertisers, the schools we partner with, and ourselves to strive for and achieve both quality and excellence in everything we do. I would put our high school broadcasts up against any other in the state. We very much appreciate Jacob Goins for all he has done for Auburn Network and Auburn High Athletics, and I’m confident that Jack Hudon will do a great job as our new Voice of the Tigers.”

“If I could tell my 7-year-old self he’d be saying ‘Touchdown Auburn’ on the air one day, he’d be doing backflips,” said Hudon. “I’m so blessed to be able to serve the City of Auburn who have molded and encouraged me from the start. I can’t tell you how excited I am for the opportunity to tell the story of Auburn High.”

Returning to the booth for the 2026 Auburn High football season from last year’s broadcast team is color announcer and former All-SEC Safety Rob Pate. Carson Meier, a senior at Auburn University, who will also be a color announcer for select games. Replacing Hudon on the sideline will be Tripp Upton, who will handle a myriad of responsibilities including producer, halftime host, and on-field interviews. Upton will also serve as the play-by-play voice for Auburn High Baseball and select Girls Basketball games.
