Beth Witten

Beth Witten moved to Auburn, Ala. with her husband Steve in 1997. They have two children, Kate and Caroline, who attend Auburn University and Auburn High School.

Witten is a 1996 graduate of Georgia Southern University with a Bachelor of Science in marketing with an emphasis on logistics. She is the founder and president of Blue Turtle Creative, a marketing and event management firm in Auburn established in 2012. Witten has extensive knowledge in the industries of retail, communications and health care.

Witten is part of several community service groups and serves or has served on the boards of the Airport Advisory Board, Leadership Lee County, the Auburn Chamber of Commerce, the Auburn Downtown Merchants Association, the Public Relations Council of Alabama, the Asheton Lakes Homeowners Association, the Lee County Planning Commission and the Women's Philanthropy Executive Board.

Witten is in her third term as an Auburn City Council member representing Ward 3. She serves as Auburn Mayor Pro Tem.

Witten joined East Alabama Living magazine as managing editor in 2020.
