Tropical Depression Two, currently south of the Florida Big Bend, is forecast to strengthen into a tropical storm later today. It is forecast to move into the Alabama and northwest Florida Gulf waters Tuesday into Wednesday morning. This system is likely to remain offshore through mid week, eventually moving west of the area. Currently, impacts are likely to remain focused close to the immediate coast and offshore.

A few roads impassable from debris, particularly within urban or heavily wooded places. Hazardous driving conditions on bridges and other elevated roadways. Scattered power and communications outages.

Minor to locally moderate damage to marinas, docks, boardwalks, and piers. A few small craft broken away from moorings.
