Two SHS softball standouts officially sign to continue playing career

SYLACAUGA Ala.- After being a part of the Sylacauga softball program for the last six years, Neeley-Scott Wilkinson and Aurielle Turner signed letters of intent to play softball at the next level.

Wilkinson signed with Southern Union State Community College. Southern Union is a Division I school in the NJCAA Conference.

Turner signed with Warner University. Warner University is a NAIA Division II school in the Sun Conference.

Aurrielle Turner signs her letter of intent.

“The last six years, they have dedicated a lot of their time and effort into our softball program here at Sylacauga,” said head softball coach Chad Wilkinson. “Their leadership and work ethic on the field is tremendous and these colleges that are picking up these two young ladies are going to be an asset to their programs not only on the field, but also in the classroom. I’m super proud of them, as their coach.”
